Meet Our Amazing Team

Chef Claudia (Owner/Executive Chef)

Chef Claudia has been working in the industry for a very long time. Waitressing from the age of 16, she always knew she wanted to own a restaurant. After attending culinary school, she found work with Wolfgang Puck's catering company, helping his prestigious organization to cater events like the Oscars and the Grammys. She spent some time working in different restaurants, before returning to Jasper. She started working at a beloved local restaurant Headquarters, and stayed there for about a decade. She would not only work as a cook in the kitchen, but she would also bake and invent creative dishes that would help set the restaurant apart. Claudia became known for her Thursday night specials and her custom menus for holidays, like her Valentine's Day reservation only menus. Through her work, Claudia built a reputation for making delicious and unique food. It is because of Jasper's love for her cooking, as well as her reputation in the local food industry, that chef Claudia has finally taken that step to opening her own restaurant, Café Piña. Here she will continue the legacy of creative, fresh one of a kind food that she has always been known for in Jasper. Hoping to bring some of her California vibes.

Connie (Sous Chef/Manager)

Connie started working with chef Claudia at headquarters when she was 16 years old. After developing an interest and learning how to cook and switching over to the line, chef Claudia began to teach her techniques from her many years of professional experience. Soon, Connie became Claudia’s sous chef and trusted friend. Claudia calls Connie her “right hand” because of her skill, excitement to learn, in support of Claudia’s vision. Connie’s abilities in the kitchen have grown tremendously over the past decade, and now she is excited to partner with Claudia as both a sous chef and a manager of Café Piña.
