Who Are We?
Café Piña is a new restaurant in Jasper, IN, with a focus on creative, seasonal, and fresh foods. Helmed by chef Claudia, who formerly worked with Wolfgang Puck catering events like the Oscars and the Grammys, Café Piña is a versatile business with so much to offer. Not only do we have a standard menu full of breakfast, lunch, and brunch favorites, we also have a seasonal menu with unique offerings based upon what is available locally and what looks best at the market. We also offer extensive coffee and cocktail programs, as well as a bakery items with different treats every week. We can also make custom cakes for events like birthdays, graduations, and so much more. We also offer catering, including charcuterie boards and grazing tables as well as fully catered meals. Finally, we also offer grab and go options for those who may not have time to sit down for a full meal.
What Makes Us Special?
Our executive chef Claudia, has been working in the Jasper, IN, food scene for years. She put in 10 years at local restaurant Headquarters, where she became popular for her Thursday night specials and custom holiday menus. She also worked at the local mad batter bakery for three years. The opening of Café Piña this is the culmination of a long journey that started with Claudia waitressing at age 16, going off to culinary school, joining Wolfgang puck's catering company in Los Angeles, and working in restaurants in Mexico before returning to Jasper where she'd been raised. She is joined in this venture by her friend Connie and her brother Ricky.
